 Not packaged as pictured Jan 30, 2010
Overall this product is good quality - most products from Wisconsin Cheeseman are. But, the packaging is nothing like the picture used for advertisement. All items are packed into the box, not laid out nicely with fake grass.
Good product, bad package. Would give again as a gift, but would organize it in a nice basket, box, etc.

The picture is very deceiving. I received all my food in a box, with no straw. The picture makes it look like the box is a nice box, but it is actually corrugated cardboard. Everything came boxed and thrown together. I ended up wrapping everything individually, instead of purchasing a nice container for the items.

i needed 2 gifts & saw the excellent reviews of this item. the variety in the package sold me on this.
i especially felt the dried fruit provided a nice touch to this gift, & was very disappointed to find the dried fruit had been switched for a bag of mixed nuts. there was already a box of mixed nuts in the package, & this exchange really took away from the presence of the item.
i called the seller about the switch & the explanation provided by customer service was that possibly they had run out of the dried fruit.
i could not pursue the issue as i was giving the items as gifts that day, they had been delivered the day before.
in addition, be aware that when you receive the item it does not look like the image above, i thought the items were vacuum packed in each compartment & visible, if you notice in the photo it looks like straw in the bottom half of the box, the image is nice but when you receive the box each item sits in its own little notch in one large red plastic board & the mixed nuts & truffles are boxed, not visible.
although i was terribly disappointed, i gave this item 3 stars because the recipients of these gifts were pleased with the quality of the food. in the future if i order from this seller or any other seller of items such as this, i plan to call them after i place the order & advise them to send what i ordered, if they are out of it, then to hold the order till they can properly fulfill the order, if not refund the money.

I ordered the Wisconsin Cheeseman Holiday Variety gift box for my family, and they loved it! It arrived very promptly in early December. They said the dried fruit was the best they'd ever had! They enjoyed the variety of flavors of cheeses and meats. I would highly recommend this gift box.
